LA PLATA, Maryland — Satellite fleet operator Yahsat reported record revenue and EBITDA for the three months ending March 31 and said April’s payload failure on the Thuraya 3 mobile communications satellite will result in a $25 million reduction in 2024 revenue but will not affect full-year EBITDA.
United Arab Emirates-based Yahsat said its Thuraya 4 satellite, under construction by Airbus Defence and Space, is scheduled for launch late this year and will enter service in late 2025.
