LA PLATA, Maryland — Viasat Inc. reaffirmed its belief that deploying high-capacity geostationary-orbit broadband satellites is a winning strategy, but that leasing bandwidth from a terrestrial wireless or a non-geostationary-orbit satellite fleet to provide low-latency service to selected customers is also part of its plan.
