PARIS — The chief executives of established geostationary-orbit satellite fleet operators Hispasat, KT Sat and Turksat outlined how they’ll use their boots-on-the-ground knowledge of their regional markets to fend off an assault by global non-GEO-orbit satellite constellations and to force them into cooperation agreements.
But they did not exclude other strategies.
KT Sat said an alliance of regional operators could build its own LEO broadband network, with each taking responsibility for its own region.
