LA PLATA, Maryland — Thai satellite fleet operator Thaicom reported its fourth consecutive quarterly increase in revenue and a 30% increase in operating profit from its satellite operations compared to the previous quarter.
The company said increased use of its Thaicom 7 and Thaicom 8 satellites in its home market drove the increases.
Thaicom has been among the most active veteran operators of geostationary satellites in the past year, ordering satellites from Airbus Defence and Space and Astranis for the company’s 119.5 . . .
