PARIS— Satellite fleet operator Telesat said it expects to get priced commercial proposals this summer from two teams of satellite builders that have been working on Telesat’s multibillion-dollar LEO constellation since late 2018.
At that point, Telesat would determine how to pay for it.
“We have already started thinking about how the project could be financed,” Chief Executive Daniel S. Goldberg said in a May 2 investor call.
Options include cash on Telesat’s balance sheet, operating cash flows from Telesat . . .
