MOUNTAIN VIEW, California —Britain’s telecommunications regulator awarded HEO/MEO satellite constellation startup Mangata a license to operate its network serving fixed and mobile corporate and user terminals, including aircraft and drones.
The Feb. 9 decision by Ofcom was expected after the agency’s earlier assessment that Mangata Edge Ltd.’s constellation would not interfere with other non-geostationary and geostationary-orbit systems. Mangata applied for its license in July 2022.
And since Mangata has promised that the UK will be its sole . . .
