Spire Global still optimistic about April close of maritime sale to Kpler, creates space reconnaissance division

LA PLATA, Maryland — Multimission satellite constellation operator Spire Global is sticking with its forecast that the $241 million sale of its commercial maritime business, which buyer Kpler Holding SA of Belgium has slow-rolled, will close by the end of this month.

Spire continues to brandish the threat of a lawsuit against Kpler as an alternative, with a May 28 trial-date start in Delaware District Court.
