Spain’s Indra creates Space NewCo to build Tier-1 European space-tech player, $1.1B revenue goal for 2030; buys Deimos

TUPPER LAKE, NY — Spanish diversified aerospace and defense technology company Indra is purchasing space technology provider Deimos Space from energy conglomerate Elecnor as part of Indra’s new strategy of developing its space business to surpass 1 billion euros ($1.1 billion) in annual revenue by 2030.

Indra in March announced a strategic plan in which defense and aerospace were core growth vectors as part of Spain’s drive to greater autonomy in strategic sectors.
