Small satellite builder GomSpace says it’s back on growth track with commercial orders; chip shortage a concern

PARIS — Merchant small-satellite manufacturer GomSpace reported an 11.6% increase in revenue for the three months ending June 30 compared to the same period a year ago and a large increase in backlog led by commercial orders.

Chief Executive Niels Guus said the new orders look like the start of a durable growth in business. Sweden- and Denmark-based GomSpace has been increasing staff and production facilities to handle the new demand.
