BRUSSELS — A month after it reaffirmed its commitment to SES’s O3b mPower medium-Earth-orbit broadband constellation, Carnival Corp. has contracted to deploy SpaceX’s Starlink low-orbit satellite service, starting with the Carnival Cruise One and AIDA Cruises fleets.
The announcement comes five months after the number-two cruise line, Royal Caribbean — Carnival is first in passengers carried in 2021 — announced its decision to roll out Starlink fleet wide by April of this year: become a subscriber!
