PARIS — Satellite fleet operator SES has named Steve Collar, the head of its medium-Earth-orbit O3b-focused SES Networks division, as company chief executive following the decision of Chief Executive Karim Michel Sabbagh to step down after four years on the job.
In a statement, SES said Sabbagh had decided “to spent time with his family and pursue other interests” and that the SES board accepted his decision.
Independent of Sabbagh’s move, SES Chief Financial Officer Padraig McCarthy will, like Sabbagh, be leaving the company in April . . .
