LA PLATA, Maryland — Startup satellite-IoT service provider Sateliot, which is using 3GPP 5G narrowband NTN protocols for its store-and-forward network, expects to begin commercial service this year but has scaled back future deployments in the face of a difficult financing environment.
Spain-based Sateliot is nonetheless maintaining its forecast that it will generate 1 billion euros ($1.1 billion) in revenue by 2030 as it places more satellites into orbit.
