TUPPER LAKE, NY — Mobile satellite communications ground antenna provider C-Com Satellite Systems Inc. of Canada said it has begun beta testing of its electronically steered phased-array antenna for mobile applications from GEO, MEO and LEO orbits and that testing “is in its final phases.”
The antenna, designed for air, land and maritime applications, has been a focus of C-Com R&D for the past several years. The company said environmental and satellite testing should be completed by the end of this year, with field testing by satellite . . .
