PARIS — Rocket-hardware builder Avio SpA reported a 25% increase in revenue for the first three months of 2022 compared to a year ago but a substantially lower profit that the company blamed on rapidly increasing energy costs.
Italy-based Avio said that whatever happens to energy costs, its profit is likely to improve once its production of P120 solid-rocket stages surpasses 20 per year. In 2022, it expects to deliver 16 P120 stages.
