PARIS — Earth observation satellite constellation operator Satellogic, whose goal is to open a vast new commercial market by bringing satellite costs down, now accepts that, like all Earth observation satellite companies, it will be dependent in the near term on government defense and intelligence (D&I) orders.
British Virgin Island-registered Satellogic, whose main production facility is in Uruguay, is now focused on conserving cash and getting its constellation to minimum level to offer revisit times acceptable to government customers.
