PARIS — The government of Québec has taken its campaign to offer broadband to all its citizens a step further in a contract with SpaceX Starlink that includes funding to speed Starlink’s extension to the polar regions above 57 degrees north latitude.
The agreement is part of Québec’s Operation High Speed, financed with 1.3 billion Canadian dollars ($1 billion), including funds from the Canadian federal government.
