LA PLATA, Maryland — Mobile satellite services and terminal provider Ovzon AB said its new Ovzon 3 satellite, in service at 59.7 degrees east in geostationary orbit since July 5, is expected to give the company a long-awaited boost and enable it to avoid having to raise capital in the near future.
As of June 30, Sweden-based Ovzon had debt of 561 million Swedish krona ($53.7 million), and about 130 million krona in liquidity. The debt facility carries a high interest rate and comes due at the end . . .
