NUR-SULTAN, Kazakhstan — One down, another 16-19 launches to go for OneWeb's first-generation constellation of broadband satellites after the Feb. 7 launch of 34 of them aboard a Russian Soyuz rocket. All are reported healthy in orbit.
OneWeb has already begun to envision a second-generation constellation, bringing with it a more-flexible payload and on-board processing while keeping as much as possible of the current 150-kg form factor.
