PARIS — Startup global satellite broadband provider OneWeb likely will need to be the principal buyer of its network’s user terminals for several years until its supply chain stabilizes, OneWeb Executive Chairman Sunil Mittal Bharti said.
OneWeb, which will be selling its service wholesale to mobile network operators and internet service providers, will be providing a 300-mbps service to customers in remote areas, where network contention is not a factor, and 100 mbps for customers in regions with many users sharing the same satellite beam, Mittal said.
