CUNCY-LES-VARZY, France — Satellite and rocket hardware builder OHB SE told investors that its long-struggling Ariane rocket business may now have hit bottom with an emerging government-industry agreement on price supports for the Ariane 6 heavy-lift vehicle.
The agreement, expected to be confirmed this month by the 22-nation European Space Agency (ESA), includes many tradeoffs that were needed to persuade the German government that Ariane 6, to debut in mid-2022, will need financial support for the foreseeable future.
