LA PLATA, Maryland — NATO is advising its 32 member governments on how to make the best use of what may be a huge military budget increase in many of these nations by investing in complementary space technologies.
One of the aims of the exercise is to persuade smaller NATO members that they no longer need large sums to invest in space technologies, and that the hardware and services can be delivered quickly, unlike heavy equipment.
