PARIS — Mobile satellite communications service and user-terminal provider Ovzon AB told investors that its Ovzon-3 satellite, already years late following delays related to the pandemic and a component defect, had fallen a further three months behind schedule and would not be launched before late this year or early 2024.
With up to several months of orbit-raising included, that will mean Ovzon-3 likely will not be in service before mid-2024, well beyond the Dec. 31, 2023, date it secured only in March from international regulators . . .
