PARIS — MDA Corp. doubled its backlog in the 12 months ending March 31 and said it’s confident that its future contract for the 30% smaller Telesat Lightspeed broadband constellation will have the same economics as forecasted a year ago.
Canada-based MDA is in full-throttle growth posture. In announcing its Q1 financials on May 11, the company said it still expected 2022 revenue to be 60% higher than 2021, at around 800 million Canadian dollars ($641 million).
