PARIS — Maxar Technologies said deliveries have begun of components from Honeywell and Raytheon, giving the company greater confidence in meeting its March-June 2022 launch date for the first two of the six Legion satellites.
Maxar Chief Executive Dan Jablonsky said the deliveries were accelerated by virtue of Legion receiving a “DX” rating by the U.S. Defense Department, giving it a priority over commercial customers.
