PARIS — Maritime connectivity providers KVH, FMC GlobalSat, Totoheo Global , Speedcast and Eutelsat said the doom-and-gloom atmosphere surrounding their industry is exaggerated, and that they are regaining profitability despite the loss of market share for their heritage VSAT businesses.
They all agree that the arrival of Starlink destabilized them for a time, and they have no illusions that the GEO-satellite VSAT business is returning. Eutelsat’s OneWeb is arriving, Amazon’s Project Kuiper is not . . .
