PARIS — Lynk Global, a startup designing a constellation of satellites to provide data links to unmodified smartphones, said it has completed its pre-commercial phase using its own LEO satellite and is now ready to move to commercial production.
The company expects to receive an experimental license from the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for 10 further satellites this year and then to begin commercial service.
