PARIS — Maxar Technologies said launches of its six WorldView Legion high-resolution optical imaging satellites likely will not start before late this year after discovery of three unrelated issues during testing.
Maxar is phasing deployment of the 30-cm-resolution Legion constellation over two launches aboard SpaceX Falcon 9 rockets, with the launches separated by several months.
Legion is important as a future revenue driver for Maxar starting in 2023. Any delays would delay that revenue growth.
