PARIS — Satellite ground hardware and service providers Kymeta, Speedcast and ST Engineering iDirect agreed that the Viasat purchase of Inmarsat is a harbinger for a wave of industry consolidation but that the sector will not shed its multiple proprietary standards anytime soon.
