KVH reports increased maritime connectivity revenue, lower operating loss in Q1; says Ku-band still plentiful

PARIS — Maritime satellite broadband hardware and service provider KVH Industries reported increased revenue and a lower operating loss in its mobile connectivity division in Q1 2021 and said it increased its subscriber count and its per-subscriber revenue during the period.

The company did not provide precise per-subscriber revenue, or ARPU, but Chief executive Martin Kits van Heyningen said it is between $1,200 and $1,250 per month, with subscriptions that last between five and 10 years.
