PARIS — International regulators put off a decision on Rivada Space Networks GmbH's request to waive a deployment deadline for Rivada’s two 300-satellite broadband networks, saying the company had filed its request too late to permit a thorough vetting by other nations.
The decision by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Radio Regulations Board (RRB) means Rivada, whose regulatory request was made through its regulator, Liechtenstein’s Officer for Communications (AK), will remain in regulatory limbo until the last week of June . . .
