PARIS— Satellite fleet operator Intelsat spent two years investigating French antenna startup Greenerwave before investing in the company’s equity and becoming fhe first customer for Greenerwave’s LEO-GEO electronically steered antenna product.
Volume production is scheduled to start next year.
It’s one of several investments Intelsat has made as it positions itself as a GEO-LEO product provider competing with the current Starlink and future Amazon Kuiper constellations, both of which appear able to operate indefinitely without worrying . . .
