TUPPER LAKE, NY — Hughes Network Systems has won a five-year contract with the U.S. Space Force to provide both OneWeb broadband and EchoStar Lyra narrowband services to U.S. government and international coalition partners.
The indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract for proliferated LEO services, announced Aug. 22, is valued at up to $900 million. It includes an option for five additional years.
Hughes’s owner, EchoStar Corp., is being merged into its sister company, Dish Network . . .
