PARIS — Satellite broadband hardware and service provider Hughes Network System continues to increase per-subscriber monthly revenue from its U.S. consumer-broadband service even as its total subscriber count declines for a lack of available satellite capacity.
EchoStar Corp.-own Hughes’s Latin American consumer broadband business is still in its growth phase and does not have a problem of satellite bandwidth. Hughes has leased Ka-band capacity aboard the Telesat T-19V and Eutelsat 65W satellites over Latin America, and its joint venture . . .
