Hanwha adds OneWeb to its Australian tactical satcom bid; unclear if it’s with Kymeta or Hanwha Phasor antennas

PARIS — South Korea’s Hanwha Systems has joined the bidding for Australia’s beyond-line-of-sight tactical communications contract and wants to use the OneWeb constellation of broadband satellites to buttress its offer.

The Australian Defence Force’s (ADF) Land 4140 request for information, which closed on June 30, solicited information from bidders on what they could propose in an upcoming formal bid request.
