PARIS — Satellite broadband hardware and services provider Gilat Satellite Networks continued to report a contrast between a customer set most satellite broadband players would die for and a lackluster revenue showing.
The company once again asked investors for more patience as a large, long-term revenue stream from the Colombian government’s FITEL terrestrial-broadband network nears completion.
But it’s not quite there. Gilat has long said the prize at FITEL was not the network’s buildout, but its recurring annual service revenue.
