PARIS — The U.S. National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) will be able to focus on radio-radio-frequency intelligence, satellite video-image applications and the best use of radar satellite data now that it has transferred responsibility for contracts with commercial geospatial companies to the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), an NGA official said.
One of the first concrete acts in the new division of responsibility was NRO’s contract with DigitalGlobe, part of Maxar Technologies, for a one-year, $300-million EnhancedView Follow-On. NRO and the U.S. government will have continued . . .
