France 2030 recovery fund space-tech financing surpasses $1 billion; 10 new awards include GEO arc surveillance

TUPPER LAKE, NY — The French government’s France 2030 recovery fund surpassed $1 billion in financial support for startup space ventures with 10 new awards, including three in-orbit demonstrations, announced July 11.

The latest funding round brings to 930 million euros ($1.006 billion) the awards made for space technology innovation under France 2030. Managed by Bpifrance and the French space agency, CNES, the program has set aside 1.5 billion euros for space innovations, mainly for New Space startups.
