LA PLATA, Maryland — Satellite builder OHB System AG said two military radar surveillance satellites launched aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 on Dec. 24 are healthy in orbit and sending, signals, completing a 13-year, three-satellite development program that was prolonged by the Covid pandemic.
SpaceX’s webcast of the launch, from Vandenberg Space Force Base, Calif., was ended at the separation fo the Falcon 9 second stage from the first, with no confirmation of a successful deployment, at the request of OHB, SpaceX said.
