PARIS — Eutelsat Chief Executive Rodolphe Belmer told the French parliament that the OneWeb broadband satellite constellation has become “a European asset” with Eutelsat’s investment in it and may be the only mega-constellation that is not U.S.-owned.
He also said Eutelsat, a commercial satellite fleet operator, is worried about the competitiveness of Europe’s Ariane 6 rocket, which may never reach the launch cadence of competitors SpaceX and Blue Origin.
