Eutelsat: OneWeb backlog growth slower than expected, but EBITDA break-even still seen in FY 2025

LA PLATA, Maryland — Committed backlog for the OneWeb constellation of broadband satellites has stagnated in recent months, but OneWeb owner Eutelsat Group still expects the service to reach EBITDA break-even by mid-2025.

Eutelsat remains in discussions with prospective contractors for OneWeb’s Gen 2 constellation, to be in orbit in 2027, and is also talking with several export-credit agencies (ECAs) about financing the work.
