LA PLATA, MD — Eutelsat Group said it had deployed and switched on 38 gateway Earth stations for its low-orbit broadband constellation, with four more to be activated in the coming months.
Delays in the activation of the ground network have slowed OneWeb’s market uptake and the growth of its backlog. The company said new gateways have been switched on for markets in Japan and Taiwan, with Thailand expected shortly.
