PARIS — Europe’s space industry association, ASD Eurospace, took a quick, informal look at the European Commission’s 2021-2027 space budget and policy proposal and produced a series of counterproposals and questions.
With an inflation-adjusted 28% increase, all the more remarkable given the likely absence of Britain from much of the funding post-Brexit, Eurospace could hardly be disappointed in the total funding level of 16 billion euros ($19.2 billion) over seven years.
But Eurospace questioned some of the policy language that raises concerns . . .
