European Court dismisses OHB Galileo complaint, allowing ESA & EU to validate $864M contract with Airbus

UPDATE May 28: The European Space Agency and Airbus Defence and Space, having been given the go-ahead by the European Court of Justice, signed their long-delayed contract for six second-generation Galileo positioning, navigation and timing satellites, ESA announced.

The agency's May 28 statement made no mention of the legal challenge that OHB had made to the Airbus award, nor the court ruling of May 26 that lifted the injunction on the contract while permitting OHB's complaint to begin what could be many months of procedures as it moves through . . .
