LA PLATA, Maryland — Europe’s meteorological satellite organization, Eumetsat, has decided to switch the launch of its Meteosat Third Generation-Sounder 1 (MTG-S1) satellite to SpaceX instead of Europe’s new Ariane 6 rocket, with which Eumetsat contracted in March 2021.
