LA PLATA, Maryland — The European Commission’s Radio Spectrum Policy Group (RSPG) has set a March 28 deadline for inputs into its proposed guidelines for introduction of satellite direct-to-device services into the 27 nations of the European Union.
The RSPG has a strong influence on policy decisions of the 46-nation European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT).
Separately, the RSPG is preparing proposals for how to divvy up 2-GHz S-band spectrum that will become available in 2027 . . .
