EU Defense & Space Commissioner: ‘We are ready’ if US shuts off Starlink in Ukraine. Important if true, unclear what it means

LA PLATA, Maryland — European Defense and Space Commissioner Andrius Kubilius said the commission has a plan to replace SpaceX’s Starlink broadband constellation’s support for Ukraine in the event the U.S. government, or Elon Musk, were to order a stop to the Starlink service.

Testifying before the French National Assembly’s Defense Committee March 25, Kubilius declined to disclose details of that replacement.
