LA PLATA, Maryland — The European Commission has received “a lot of interest in S-band” for the Commission’s proposed secure connectivity satellite constellation and remains confident that a French-registered regulatory filing in Ka-band can be used despite the milestone deployment deadlines associated with it.
The Commission is reviewing 47 submissions to its “Preliminary Market Consultation” canvassing industry to determine what technical capabilities and radio-frequency reservations are held by different companies and governments.
