EU Commissioner implicitly backs Airbus-Thales Alenia Space merger, says GovSatCom capacity for Ukraine imminent

LA PLATA, Maryland — European Union Defense and Space Commissioner Andrius Kubilius, weighing in as Europe’s biggest customer for satellites, said he had no objection to European space companies merging to create stronger players on the world market.
