PARIS— The European Commission deployed a hard-cop, soft-cop tactic in describing a possible future collaboration with post-Brexit Britain on space programs.
First, the hard cop. EU Commissioner Thierry Breton, who oversees the Commission's defense and space programs, both growing, waived aside any future space program collaboration and appeared irritated that the question still comes up.
