PARIS — The European Space Agency (ESA) is auditing its largest development program, the Ariane 6 heavy-lift rocket, to prepare a cost-overrun assessment that separates Covid-19-related problems from issues that remain the responsibility of the agency’s industrial contractors.
The agency will give the 13 nations taking part in the Ariane 6 and Vega-C development programs a total cost overrun picture in March.
